12  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: Decorating my violin case on: September 16, 2005 08:17:42 PM
On one side you could do huge f-holes!  Like the big back spanning f-hole tattoo's people do.

I play violin but have never bothered to decorate the case.  I too have one of the fabric ones, but its one of those old school fabric ones thats square and has a maroon stripe.  hehehe.  I love the newer more violin shapped ones.  If I ever got a new case that is what I'd go for.

13  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Bagels rock! on: September 16, 2005 08:08:40 PM
Oh I miss real bagels... all I have access to here are lenders.

They look so cute and real!
14  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Stash Swap Gallery on: September 15, 2005 04:32:23 PM
I got my package from kmsMaverick today and it is TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  For now you'll only be getting descriptions because I lack a camera... if  kmsMaverick doesn't have pictures of her crafts I'll steal a camera off of someone, because these deffinetly deserve pictures!

Cute little hair elastics with these darling flowers on them - I put one in right away. Smiley

A cute acorn zipper pouch. I must figure out what to use it for, it is too perfect to sit around doing nothing!

A small grey purse (has these diamond designs on the fabric).  It is so adorable and it is just the right size for me!  I'm switching the things out of my current purse to this one as soon as I'm done writing this!

Two candy corn place mats!  Candy corn is one of my favorite types of halloween candy!  And halloween is coming up - guess whats going to be on my dining room table soon. Cheesy

A small cutely decorated tin.  It has a picture of a little table outside, with a cup of tea on it.  Inside are some tea bags!  It looks like they are homemade tea bags - they for sure have cute little home made tags on each one!

And to top it off, one small hand written note on a really cute card! Cheesy

Oh I now have even more first swap jitters... I better go work on my stuff more! LOL

16  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo...(pics galore) on: September 11, 2005 02:05:39 PM
So awesome looking!  I'll have to try making a little book like that. Smiley

I can't decide whether to do a few of these books and stitch them together or to abuse an old book?! Roll on the 15th!!
I almost think it would be awesome to leave them as stand alone books.  Then when you send the vistor back, it has its own little book series!
17  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Halloween Swap! (Sign Up By September 20th. Send By October 10th.) on: September 09, 2005 03:11:29 PM
Ohhh I bet this would be fun!

I'm in the middle of my first swap.  But if I get everything done early I should be able to join.   Smiley

18  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Pressed Flower Power - home decor projects with pressed flowers. on: September 05, 2005 06:46:33 AM
It's an instructional article I wrote for Gannett, you'll have to visit another site, but pop back here and tell me what you think.

I just wanted to let you know what I thought of the article as you requested.  I read it at work last night and it was very nice.  It covered all the bases, and the instructions were easy to understand.  I'd never heard about the microwave method, though I'd heard of books and the presses.  I have never pressed flowers but would love to try both the book and microwave methods. Smiley

19  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: cellphone experiment. =] on: September 04, 2005 05:26:18 PM
That looks really awesome.

The text you are using looks really small and is a bit hard to read.  I thought you might like to know.  It might just be my computer at work doesn't have the font you use though.  Smiley

Very fun idea!  I might have to try it.
