Here's how to make a buttonhole stitch.

I love your camera cozy, BTW!

Love the heart-shaped anarchy symbol. Clever.  Cheesy

LOL! When I first replied to this I didn't notice that it hadn't been active for months. I guess we revived it!  Cheesy

Anyway, I finished my first project. I purchased the exterior fabric for it before I found this thread, but the lining fabric, the fasteners and the shredded cash were something I already had.

Yep, shredded cash. I decoupaged it onto the bag. It didn't work that well, so I'm going to try a different method next time.

This is beautiful! All the detail is really impressive!

Okay, so I made this tote, and the stripe on it is decoupaged shredded U.S. Currency. (The Dept. of Treasury shredded it... I didn't.)

I don't recommend decoupaging shredded currency, though, because it does not lie flat and it also does not sand well. Rubbing this bag up against good clothes would not be kind to my clothes.

And the lining is from my stash. Enjoy!

I just landed on Craftster a couple days ago, and if you hadn't started this challenge I was going to start it myself!

I'm going to post my first project this weekend. It's a tote bag with a super-easy square bottom, and the design is inspired by a certain designer who, shall we say, flies in Coach class.  Wink

Anywayyy... Thanks for doing this. You will be seeing more of me!

I think this is great, and for Earth Day, too!  Grin

This one gets my vote!
