These are beautiful! So colorful, and the buttons are great, too!
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: Use What You Have and Finish What You Have Craftalong on: August 29, 2007 10:30:48 AM
Thanks, folks! He was fun to make. I didn't notice that his body was the same shape as one of those neck pillows until somebody mentioned it. That is really funny to me for some reason.  Cheesy

Thanks so much for the resin info. Did you make your own molds, or did you purchase them somewhere? The little heart is adorable.

Where would I find out about resin... where to find it, how to use it? There are things I want to make! Your stuff is really cute.

Okay, so my friend Jen came over last week to sew a purse, and I was jealous of her getting to sew, even though I got to spend the time playing with her beautiful baby. After she left I took out a piece of random fabric and made this shy elephant toy.

It's only about eight inches tall, so it's not much of a stash buster, but it's really cute, if I may say so myself.  Wink

9  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Bingo card journal on: August 19, 2007 08:22:54 AM
Thanks for the comments...

Karen - I don't own them myself, either. I use the equipment in the college's media department. You may be able to find someplace that you can use these things as well.

Funny thing about the corner trimmer - when we moved the library my boss walked into my office carrying this little machine in one hand, threatening to throw it out because nobody used it. I about keeled over, since I had never even seen it before. I protected it and moved it myself to the new library, where it has an honored spot in the "Dangerous Implements Room" with the paper cutter, ream cutter and dry mount press.

Thanks. Yeah, it's pretty stable. It has to be since it will eventually live in my purse with all of my electronic gadgets.
