1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: My very first earrings! on: March 28, 2007 04:13:13 PM
Thanks so much!

I don't have very many beads yet, so I wanted to find a way to add detail without having to use beads.

I have issues with knowing how to put beads together and things like that - my creativity isn't as good as it use to be.  I'm hoping to just stock up on beads as much as possible, and then make more jewelry Smiley

So talented!

Definitely the first one!

Like someone already mentioned, boys tend to need things literally spelled out for them, which you did Smiley

If you really can't decide though, why not bring both to school, stick them in your purse, and which ever one you grab out is the one you give!

They're really cute!

I'm a first timer too, and I'm already loving it.

These earrings are unbelievable.

I just started to make jewelry from beads and I really want to get into making my own beads one day.

I LOVE the feather ones, definitely my absolute favorite.  They're much more practical than plain feathers.

That bracelet is so awesome.  I just started to make my own jewelry (just beads for now) but I would love to learn to use mediums like resin some day.

Thank you  Smiley

I know they are nothing special, and not much compared to the amazing things I have seen on this site already, but I'm just going to practice, practice, practice.

I also don't have very many beads, since I'm a bit tight on money at the moment, so I'm just going to buy them little by little and stock up.

Hi everyone!  I'm new to the craftster board!  I just recently became interested in making my own jewelry, mostly because I bought myself a new little black dress (which was a bit pricey) and realized I have NO accessories to go with it!  So, to save a little money, and to have a new hobby, I decided to start making my own accessories!

Here are my first earrings I have made.  I bought some wire today and decided I wanted to make spirals out of it.  So I made 3 different length spirals and attached small, red mother of pearl beads to them!  I don't think I did too bad for my first pair!  Please check them out  Smiley

Here is a picture of them from the front.  Sorry if it's a little blurry!

Here is a picture from the side so you can see the spirals.
