(sorry i couldn't quite find what i was lookin for in the search.
Hey everyone this is my first post.
and i was just wanting to know what's a good topcoat i could use for wooden jewelry?
i've painted the pieces with acrylic paint and i want the finish to be HIGH GLOSS/SEALER. but i was also concerned about the pieces touching or being near the skin as well. or should everything be just fine?
also the pieces i'm going to use as earrings are kinda thin (WOODSIES)...so could the top coat help make them stronger or should i use like a stiffner (i thought about using the fabric stiffner spray)?
one more thing (lol) i don't have a drill (boo!) but could i use something to poke holes in my future earrings without damaging them?
(if things work out nicely...i'll edit with a link in the FINISHED area.)
thanks in advance.ETA! thanks so much everyone for your replies! the pieces came out yummy! and they're doin fairly well. i found a hand drill and it gets the job done. but now either i have to be more patient with the spray coats or find another sealer cuz my earrings stick together.
