i could be wrong but you can try to get rid of the bubbles the way you do it to resin, by applying heat with a torch. just slightly warming the surface.  Huh

awesome idea, but i gotta ask, how do you not get your hands sticky holding them?

my partner wrote me a love letter and in the middle of it he switched into rick astley.  i laughed so hard i cried.  great idea!

oh my god! if my DH knew what rick rolled is i would have soooooo done this to him.

the cake in your picture is AIRBRUSHED fondant, or sugarpaste ( if you can make sugarpaste into a sheet? )

Cute! Yay for passing your exams! Were they hard? I'm a CNA doing the long route to RN (CNA, pre-reqs, LVN, year of work, RN) and so knowing how hard the CNA test was it's really an accomplishment you did!

nclex exam is impossible to describe. it's a computer test that formulates your next question based on how you answered your last one. it assesses if you are capable of practicing adequately. after it determines if you are adequate or not, it just shuts off.

it's not that it was hard, it certainly wasn't as hard as the tests during nursing school, it was just tricky, or maybe because you can't possibly study for it and you know it kind of rules your life that you freak out about it.

i didn't think i passed, it kept asking me the same question over and over, just changing it ever so slightly.

the only reason i passed was because 1) my school was excruciatingly hard on us and we got a very good education 2) i did 3,000 practice questions before the exam using Kaplan questions, which are the closest to the actual nclex questions.

i wish you all the best in your journey. if i knew how hard it was going to be, i would have chickened out. it's best not to trully know what's ahead and just take it one step at a time.

now i;m just glad i can sew and knit 'till my heart's content because i don't have to study. thatis, until next september, then im back in school for my bachelor's

individual cakes are gorgeous! they can be made as one cake and cut into individual pieces, decorated individually.
http://www.marthastewart.com has great fancy individual cakes.

strawberries are nice, but they're more of a side dessert, not so much as a main dessert
