1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / What do you think of rebecca magazines? on: April 20, 2007 04:49:02 AM
So, I am working on my second rebecca sweater and the charts being confusing seems to be a trend.  Earlier this year I bought a whole bunch of rebecca mags for a good price, but now when I look through them I don't see anything that I really really like (except for the two sweaters previously mentioned).

What do you think?
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Pattern recommendation? Bulky Cashmere on: April 14, 2007 08:45:12 AM
Ok - so I hit the jackpot big time.  I bought a 100% cashmere turtleneck sweater at goodwill for $2.

I want to recycle the yarn - it's a heavy worsted-bulky weight.  I have lots - easily enough to make a sweater.

I am having a tough time finding a pattern I love.

Anyone have any ideas?  I wanted to make "something red" from Knit and Tonic, but there's no way I can sub such a bulky yarn....

Thanks so much in advance!!!!
