MacesMeMe- We did replace the vanity and mirror.  Here's a picture before we finished everything:

So, we bought a house about a year ago that was a foreclosure.  We needed to do a lot of work to even make it move in ready, including ripping out a wall in the shower to fix some plumbing problems.  The bathroom was the first room that we had completely finished and I'm happy with how it's turned out so far.  (I say so far because I still want a new toilet and to replace the flooring.)

I already posted these in their own post, but I thought I would put them here too.  I made these for my family ornament exchange.  I modeled them after an ornament that I bought at World Market.  They are super cheap to make but I like how they look.  I'm going to try out some different color combos and possibly add some glitter/dots.

My family does an ornament exchange every year and it's always a challenge for me to find a ornament that I want to make.  I looked at the ornament page here and found a bunch that I liked but before I got the chance to start one I found an old ornament that I bought a couple years ago.  I decided to try to make one like it and I really like how they are turning out.







I have a couple different colors, options going on right now that I'll update with.  I also am toying with the idea of adding glitter or dots on the sides...  what do you think?

hey everyone,
i'm really not a very big flower person, so when it came to my wedding, i wasn't sure i wanted to blow a big part of my budget on them.  Enter: felted flowers!  now, i don't actually knit, but my sister does and she was totally into the idea so she made them for me!  can i mention that i have an amazing sister??  

we decided on tulips, after trying out 4 different patterns.  i'm getting married in may so tulips fit nicely into the spring feel.  we haven't felted them yet, but here's a link to my bio with all the pictures up to now:
