This is beautiful, especially for your first time with crochet lace.
I'm always amazed at what a difference blocking makes (I hate to block Tongue).

I was affraid of the process of blocking (how long and difficult it can be), but I found this site for blocking acrylique. It's easy and not very long and you don't have to wet your project : http://rainyknits.blogspot.com/2006/08/blocking-acrylic.html

that looks really cool! and difficult, great job.

LunyLuna, i'm still a beginner and I found it easy to do, If you can do "Tr" you can do it! Also it took me less than one week and 1 ball and a little of another of red heart soft yarn. So it's almost instant gratification.

Thanks everyone for your comments and for looking.

Hi everyone!

I'm a knitter and I start crochet about a little less than one year ago.

I'm so proud because I finished my first wearable project. Also it's my first time with crochet lace and blocking.

It's the plum blossom capelet from the Doris Chan book "Amazing lace"

So here it is :

The back

The front

And before blocking

Thanks for looking and comments are appreciate.

Update! Finaly I got it, but thanks for looking.

Hi, I'm making the stylish sweater coat from the red heart website and I'm stuck!  Huh

Anyone made it?

For the row 2 (10,18)
Did I crochet on the previous row or did I crochet on the edge of my work?

Thanks for your help.

Sorry for the spelling, english is not my first langage.  Grin

Hi, I don't know if it's too late, but I just notify your thread.

There's a great, no I mean marvelous little shop on Chemin Ste-Foy, near le Collège François-Xavier Garneau. She sell yarn (like noro and all the great stuff). It's called La Dauphine if you are interested.

If you want more informations about it you can leave me a message.
