And it really depends (how long it takes)- I should pay attention to the time, but with the kids running around, the different sizes, coloring and markings and length of coat it can take anywhere from a few hours to 10+ per piece. (Usually the latter as I like to work with mostly 1 needle at once).

  What did you use for the moth's feelers? They look exactly like.

I used feathers, then I painted them and sealed in mod podge and before it dried, I "combed" them with a needle to give the spaces.

I painted 2 cork pieces for my partner in the bug swap and added magnets and felt in the back.
I don't think I've attempted painting anything that tiny before, but it's so fun! I wish I had better brushes, though, but I'm sharing mine with the kids, who carelessly paint fuzzy polka dots with them as well Tongue
