1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Purple tentacle has returned :D on: December 02, 2008 06:46:50 PM
This is so awesome. I've actually been replaying DOTT recently -- my husband installed a program that can run it on my Mac!

Hitting this rocks. Because they do. For serious.

4  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / First FBB! on: March 03, 2008 06:50:05 PM
I am super proud of this FBB -- it's the first semi-complicated thing I've made Smiley I made this for my sister for Christmas, and now my mom wants one!

The color doesn't show very well, but it's a nice forest green, with black/white flower and lining.

7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Nightmare set on: November 12, 2007 07:02:42 PM
CanadianKiwi, no one posted a pattern that I know of, but the scarf is just two rows of double crochet in the alternating black and white, then I added tassels at the ends.

The hat is just a basic beanie pattern that I found online somewhere (sorry, don't have link still). Probably something similar to this: http://hometown.aol.com/JSchlossma/ezdcc.html

Then I just crocheted two small circles to make the eyes, and then "embroidered" the nostrils and mouth with black yarn.

I hope this helps!
8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Nightmare set on: November 12, 2007 06:35:17 PM
I know a lot of people have done this set, but I just wanted to add mine to the group Smiley When I first saw this set I knew I had to make it for a good friend who loves NBC.  We exchanged early Christmas gifts this past weekend -- and she loved it!!!

Ooh, love the colors on this! Curious about the lining ... did you hand sew it in, or use a sewing machine? The stitches look too perfect, so I'm wondering also if they show on the outside of the clutch (if you used a sewing machine). Great job!

meagannichole, all I did was single crochet (I think) back and forth just across the front and it actually folds up on it's own. I may have slip stitched around the edge to finish it off, and I know that I sewed the flap to the main hat with a few little stitches just to make sure it didn't ever flap down.

I hope that makes sense and helps!
