I received last week, was swamped with work and then promptly got the flu, so I haven't posted yet.. these are a little dark (I should have taken them earlier today).. I received a really amazing package with a super cute mug rug, appliqued tea towels, a tea tray, a coffee cup, a mushroom pen and some yummy goodies!  Thank you so much Perfectly Bohemian!

I received an awesome hoop last week from beccas_song but was sick and didn't get pictures up... I'll have to try and get a picture in daylight.. this photo doesn't do it justice.  It is just really nicely done -- such impeccable stitching!  I love it!  Thanks for the lovely, lovely hoop!

OK, so here it goes with the onslaught of pictures -- absolutely amazing creativety and I apologize that my pictures don't totally capture how great this package is:

First, there is a Hunger-Games modified travel game (seriously clever.. how creative is this!?!):

District 12 patterned arm warmers (I tried to get the pattern but it's hard to photograph arms):

Some cute wine charms:

Two lovely embroidery pieces (these are just so beautiful!) of Rue's lullaby and a representation of Katniss first spotting Rue in the tree (the wooden beads are eyes and the arrows represent Rue pointing toward the tracker jacker nest --so clever!:

A Buttercup ami friend:

Two awesome carved wooden flame stamps, a key chain (silver parachute tribute drop), and a Rue-styled coconut wood pendant charm:

Another key chain (working bow and arrow), two sets of earrings and handmade buttons (one of the earrings has a picture of Foxface, the other represents flames - just awesome!)

A pin (which is very pretty and has a lot of detail in it but somehow the light was wonky in the pic)

And a really amazing messenger bag -- it has District-emblems embroidered on the flap, and it uses repurposed materials and has an reversible "fire" inspired side with a "Down with the Capitol" stencil:

Close-ups (hopefully these are easier to see):

I received a suuuuper cute hoop from Average_fan on a fill in the blank Valentine theme.  I love this (love the colors, love the beautiful stitchery, love the rocket ship!!!  eeee!  Awesome!)  I wish the light was better in the photo, but this is just fantastic!

Thank you so much for such a delightful treasure!

I received an absolutely lovely hoop from Averia last week (and just have been delayed from posting by travel) -- the theme was petticoats and I just love the perfect execution of the lines (and this makes me think of Victorian/ steampunk apparel, which I totally dig).

Very nice work Averia -- your skill always impresses me and this is just extraordinarily well crafted!

26  Re: 2012 Stash-Busting Resolution Dotees GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by amnesia on: February 22, 2012 10:09:12 PM
I received last week but was travelling.. hence the delay... but I received a lovely dotee last week from grasshopper to remind me to craft every week (and stay organized!).. This is much lovelier in person and the colors are a bit more vivid than you can see with my camera phone--it's totally perfect for me and the texture is so amazing (and I just love it!)  Thanks so much grasshopper for such a cool dotee!

So I received an awwwesome dotee from craftylittlemonkey earlier this week (and I've finally got a minute free to post).  Isn't this awesome?  One of my resolutions was to play more piano, and this is such a great interpretation!  I love how whimsical this is and it just makes me happy to look at.. Smiley

As a really cool bonus, she also sent some really cute quilting squares (which is what you see in the background..) Thank you so much!

Aww... thanks mezcraft!  It was a pleasure!

I, in turn, received an amazing hoop today from fancybutch... it's an awesome piece based on street art in the Toronto area of Kensington Market... it combines two of my favorite things -- street art and 60s-influenced stylinh --and I so absolutely love this!  (I tried to rotate these but for whatever reason, they are being difficult... Sad )

And.. as a super cool touch, the back had a picture of the art that inspired it!

I'm so glad you liked everything!  This swap has been so much fun!!!

I received before Christmas from badpuppy but I haven't had a chance to post... I had a super awesome stash of goodies in my bag --- first, the bag itself was so cute!!  I love it!

Here's a big picture of the whole stash:

And a couple of close-ups.. there were three awesome feather steampunk hairclips:

A pretty dyed scarf:

As you can see... a lot more stash goodies, treats (chocolate that disappeared immediately... hot chocolate mixes, tea...)...a super awesome linen rose headband (one of my new favs!), toile cupcake liners, too much to name! Thank you so much badpuppy for such a great swap!

I received an awesome hoop from megstar last week on the theme "robot apocalypse" -- seriously, I squealed when I opened this.  So clever!  I love it! (And this picture doesn't do it justice -- the blue fabric has glitter gold spots like stars and the colors are a bit deeper).

Thanks so much for the awesome hoop!
