1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Princess Zelda costume for an 8yo? on: October 04, 2008 02:31:44 PM
DD has decided that's what she wants to be.  I am not finding any to purchase so I figured I'll have to make it.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about doing so?  Thanks.
2  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Halloween finger cookies-must see on: September 22, 2007 08:25:51 AM
I made these a couple of years ago and just found the picture again.  I took them to a church potluck and they were a HUGE hit!

3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Chenille bibs on: August 03, 2007 08:53:30 AM
I heart these new bibs!  They are chenille on one side and just plain cotton on the other.  I debated putting anything between the layers, but they are pretty thick and absorbant.  And they are a good size for a toddler.

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Help needed with ribbon stripe on bag on: July 13, 2007 08:59:20 AM
I want to make a bag kind of like this.

I am not sure how I would attach the solid ribbon.  I am thinking I would sew my top and bottom pieces together and then just top-stitch the ribbon on.  Is there a better way to do this?  Thanks.
5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / REconditioning an old doll on: June 12, 2007 01:56:09 PM
I found a doll at my mom's that I had when I was little, so it is about 23 years old.  It is in sorry shape and I would like to make it new again.  I could make it a new body, but I don't know how I would attach the arms and legs again.  Instead of being attached with zip-ties, the body is sewn directly into the plastic.  It is hard plastic instead of soft vinyl.  Does anyone have any ideas of how I could attach it all together before I rip it apart?  Thanks!
