Im mainly into Steampunk at the moment, what a great combination of Victoriana and science fiction is to inspire crafters.

4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Resin on: March 22, 2007 02:32:06 AM
I recently bought some jewellery resin, poured it into a mold, added catalyst, mixed it, added a few objects to see what they look like.

I asked how long it takes to set and was told a few hours.
2 days later and alot of hacking I finally get the resin out of the(self releasing) mold.
admittedly I didnt mix the catalyst in as much as I could of.

Have any of you any experience of using resin, and can you give me any tips?

5  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Inking onto glass on: March 14, 2007 05:05:06 AM
Hi, Im new, so glad to meet people who think outside the box.

Im trying to rubber stamp onto small glass bottles.Im using Stazon as it..er...well...stays on, unlike other inks, but whenever I roll the bottle over the stamp its slipsy slides everywhere leaving an awful print.

Any ideas pleasey?
