I think today I might have found the one thing thats going to make the rest of my jar not so important. and it was by extreme luck.

as far as ebay searches  "vending charm lots" or "vending toy lots" are good key words as well as "junk drawer"...junk drawer searches usually include all kinds of nic nacks vintage and new

Wow, I haven't even started, save the jar.  I wanted to wait so I could tailor it exactly to my partner!  That and payday isn't until next week... Wink

559  COOKING / Dessert / mini yogurt pies on: June 18, 2008 03:24:54 PM
I got this recipe from an American Girl magazine a million years ago and I begged my mom to let me make it and she actually agreed to help me...I don't know the exact recipe but this is close enough...and crazy that I remembered it all these years....I made it for my bf our first Valentines Day together...
it's also an awesome summertime treat...

(here it is in the palm of my hand)

here is my insanely vague recipe because I just wing it

(2)  6 packs of mini graham cracker crusts
(1)  regular sized container Cool Whip
(1)  large container Vanilla yogurt

mix equal parts of cool whip and vanilla yogurt (I usually use all the whip and 3/4 the yogurt...
line the bottom of the cup with whatever fresh fruit you enjoy...
this time I lined the graham with melted white chocolate and slices of strawberries, but I have used blueberries as well and I'm sure pineapple would be awesome....
the original recipe suggested strawberries or m&ms...
make sure you dont go overboard with the fruit in the bottom because you need room for the filling!!

pour the whip yogurt mix into the crusts, top with fruit slices for pretty
(and refrigerate of course)
I used a strawberry slice and a white chocolate blob
it was a first time for the white chocolate and it was s0o0o g0o0od
you will probably have some filling left over, which you can eat with a spoon, dip fruit in or I used to sprinkle crunchy cereal into it

I hope all of that made sense

of course the dress is amazing and you looked so awesome, but I just want to say, never lose the "dork". it isn't a bad thing. Smiley
