11  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Teeny Traveler in a Tin Swap Gallery on: April 24, 2015 11:26:04 AM
I received this curious little capsule in the mail yesterday. It looks like a plain old (beautiful) Easter egg

As I was photographing it, this menacing little luchador bunny kicked the top right off of it!

I appreciate this so much, Onyxnox. I love him. Thank you!

And thanks to all for a great swap <3

Thanks guys =0)
It was a pretty scary. She has a long way to go, but she has made a LOT of progress in a week. She had a stroke and was unresponsive when they brought her in. Now she is talking (a little slurred) and she knows whats what and who is who...which is awesome.
My mouth is healing up. It still aches but I'll get over it.

As far as the swap, the lady at the post office says that it could take two weeks for my tin to get to Jaywesome, but it's on it's way!!

I had a particularly bad weekend. My boyfriends mother was rushed to the hospital and I slipped in the snow and bashed my face up pretty good. My traveler should be shoving off before the week is through. I just haven't had a free moment to finish up. I only have a little more tin to do....Im really excited about what I have, I hope I can get it out soon, (s)he's got a long ways to travel.

Tried a few tin things that failed. Shopping for plan B tomorrow. Attempting to accessorize in the meantime.

I'm hoping to have a traveler tonight! Hopefully I don't want to remake it. We'll see how I feel about it when it's complete.

My AC Moore reward certificate came today! I'll be able to get to the store soon. I still have only ideas at this point, but I can finally get supplies AND have a few days off to play with them.

I almost caved and went shopping and I'm lucky i didn't because it just occurred to me today that I have a $10 reward certificate on the way from A.C. Moore. And while a trip to the craft store is always a good time, it's even better with free money.

I did glue a thing to a thing and then I was going to glue more things, but then I realized that I don't know what I'm doing, so I forced myself to put it away.
