91  Boondock Saints in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by TrickyMcVomit on: March 11, 2008 10:58:11 PM
I don't have any before pics of it, but it was a long sleeve shirt..I got it last St. Patrick's Day from some guy that makes them....he just gave it to me......I had every intention of cutting it up and I just never got around to it...today was the day..and I am fairly satisfied with the outcome...

back (everbody is irish on st paddy's day)

sides I did in fabric marker (I cleaned and now I can't find my paints  Sad)

the back is longer than the front, I was going to cut it off but I think i love it too much!.!

92  purple fairy shrinky necklace!.! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by TrickyMcVomit on: January 05, 2008 09:12:08 PM
I loved the way my BLS one came out so of course I have to make more!.!

purple star ribbon I had laying around...and purple and pink metallic beads, but you can't really tell in the picture  Undecided  it ties with a bow like a shoelace and it's adjustable so it can be a choker or it can hang a little bit lower (sorry no action shots)

the fairy itself I had drawn years ago in one of my many sketchbooks, I just traced her in color, something I rarely use when I draw, and gave her a tutu!.! ...she looks lopsided but thats just the way she is flying Tongue

93  Re: Show off your cake decorating skills! in Dessert by TrickyMcVomit on: January 05, 2008 12:48:45 PM
my mom took cake decorating classes when I was a kid....I used to love eating her homework for breakfast  Grin

I made this cake for my boyfriends birthday a while ago, the cake itself is banana carrot cake with cream cheese frosting (if I can find it I will post the recipe some other time...so soooo goood) I used regular gel frosting to do the design, I mixed pink gel with the cream cheese frosting to make the flesh tone....and thats it...

my boyfriend is one of my favorite subjects because he is already such a cartoon....so I draw him alot  Grin

this is from the day we met....before my hair was red....but it's the only pic I can find of him with his hair up <3

and yes...his hair is very blue...at all times...

94  BLS Black Label Shrinky choker in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by TrickyMcVomit on: January 04, 2008 11:56:33 PM
the skulls and the BLS are on clear shrink paper...buying it was an accident but I am so in love and so happy with it...

speaking of accidents.....this beautiful little accident was a surprise to me, it all started with the Black Label Society logo pendant......I have no tshirts or anything to represent my love for them, so I said hey, why not a necklace...then the skulls were made...but how to attach them......?.?

my original idea was a smaller ribbon, but I couldnt find where I put it...but if I did the ribbon I had no clue how to smoothly link the skulls, the logo and the ribbon...thats when the shiny little black beads came out to play...it was also meant to hang lower....but it looked frumpy... so I cut the ribbon and tied it around my neck with a bow (I singe the edges so they won't fray)...

(I tried to post the best pics I could, I suppose as long as you get the point it's fine...but if you want better pics I can get them up asap Smiley)

95  ship in a bottle and a Femlin newbie shrinkies in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by TrickyMcVomit on: January 04, 2008 02:08:26 PM
I started with shrink paper last night and I am afraid I can't stop!.!

sorry, I had to scan them my digi is lame and my phone wont take a good pic because  they are so tiny

both are on clear shrink paper

the cell phone charm you may recognize from the Playboy joke page (or not...if you've never umm...ahem...read it before...) she is so tiny I wish she could be photographed better, but she was my first an my favorite, I definitely will make more Femlins!.! especially because I know this one will probably be stolen by my friend  Cheesy

the ship in a bottle is the second one I did, the first I scrapped because the colors came out all wrong, the blue tint on the glass was very very dark and the whole thing looked too cartoony...it will most likely become a necklace...

I am having so much fun with this stuff...I have the day off work today and I invested in a 36 pack of permanent markers...Im going to get back to it  Grin

(please let me know if the pic even shows up)

97  glow in the dark mini wooden ouija box in Completed Projects by TrickyMcVomit on: November 30, 2007 08:30:16 PM
christmas is coming up fast and I'm trying to make things like crazy....I just finished something to be proud of....

I designed it myself in photoshop in black on white and printed it out to fit the top of the box...I glued it on and sealed it with mod podge then layered glow in the dark fabric paint on top of the "board" followed by more podge...I painted over everything in black and then even more podge!.!

I trimmed it in black...

and the biggest pain..making the planchette....it's a guitar pick!.! I made the hole with an exacto knife and put a small chain in the corner...I will probably make in into a bracelet or necklace..

the board glows very bright, I am surprised and very happy with the out come Grin

99  shirts for my bartenders Sixx and Bowie in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by TrickyMcVomit on: November 27, 2007 06:50:35 PM
we are regulars at a local irish pub...the bartenders are our good friends (twin brothers) and are in love with my artwork....I do all kinds of stuff but I mostly sketch and paint tshirts....so I made them these...I usually don't do celebrities but since I know they are actually wearing them and not selling them I let them have what they wanted...

David Bowie

and Nikki Sixx

Nikki is in more of a cartoon style...but Bowie was a little bit harder for me to do in that style without him looking ultra fem....Nikki also isn't as big...the David Bowie design was pretty large if I remember correctly  Smiley

100  Happy Birthday Jimi Hendrix charcoal in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by TrickyMcVomit on: November 27, 2007 06:23:38 PM
Jimi has been a big part of my house since I was a kid I remember in 3rd grade always trying to steal my brothers (I have 4) shirts to wear to school....my one Brother even has a full portrait tattoo on his arm....I realized today was his birthday and I wanted to post a myspace bulletin with a pic saying Happy Birthday and what not...and after looking for a pic and not feeling any of them I decided to break out the charcoal I haven't touched since I got it for christmas 2 years ago....

Music sweet music...I wish I could caress, caress....
