1  BBC Sherlock Messenger Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by TrickyMcVomit on: July 14, 2014 02:33:51 PM
I had bought this bag with every intention of adding my own touches to it. I settled on a BBC Sherlock theme. I already had the "221B wallpaper" fabric leftover from lining a hood and I knew I wanted to use it to line my new bag with. I'm not going to lie, I would line everything with this fabric if I could...if I didn't have to sew it all by hand like I did with this bag!  Cheesy

I painted a smaller version of "Mr. Blue Skull" for my partner in a skull themed swap and just couldn't resist painting him a second time. Here, I hand painted him onto a solid white craft bandana, cut him out, ironed him on with hem tape and outlined him with sparkle fabric paint for extra reinforcement.

Below is a link to the original bag. It had two inner dividers but one of them didn't connect to the bottom, so I cut it out. I might replace or pad the strap as well but it will probably take me forever to finally get to it  Tongue
I use the ammo loops to hold my sunglasses.

2  Re: Once You Pop Swap - Summer 2014 GALLERY!!! in The Swap Gallery by TrickyMcVomit on: July 12, 2014 05:57:28 PM
My partner hasn't posted photos yet and I only took photos of two of the items I made, but here they are:

This is the inside of a shell that I painted freehand and made into a pendant.

...and a pendant that I painted and beaded to act as a sun catcher.

Reversible American flag headband, Bird Bic lighter, tea wallet, travel tin and of course the can!

Here are the tin and wallet closed with the contents of the travel tin laid out

Love everything! Thanks so much, RandiMaehym787 and thanks for organizing, Ma Rut  Smiley

Dustyfro painted me this fantastic "Mr. Blue Skull" as seen in 221B Baker St via BBC Sherlock
and made me a little plush luchador skeleton. He has a bracelet in my favorite colors around his neck...

Which I LOVE because my work shirt is green!

Thanks for everything, dustyfro! I'm crazy about it all!
I can't wait for my package to get to you Smiley

5  Charcoal Jack Nicholson Joker in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by TrickyMcVomit on: March 31, 2014 05:39:48 PM
I think that it's been at least 10 years since I last worked with charcoal and it seems that I'm still very much in love with it.
 Grin

I have been thinking a lot about getting back into charcoal lately. I finally did something about it today. I hope to be producing many more charcoaly things in the very nearest future.

9  Re: Jim Henson Swap round 3 gallery in The Swap Gallery by TrickyMcVomit on: June 12, 2013 07:39:18 PM
I received from calixita the other day...I'm so in love with everything!

Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, in felt AND a ridiculous beaded cuff bracelet. I'm so serious, I can't take my eyes off of it.

...and a Dark Crystal tin, outside

and a crystal shard within.

"When single shines the triple sun what was sundered and undone shall be whole, the two made one by Gelfling hand or else by none"

The shard has a little hole for stringing, I can't wait to make it into something!

My package to calixita was sent today, I hope she likes it as much as I like what she made for me!!! Thanks again, calixita! I'm glad I got to be a part of such a wonderful swap!

10  Michonne and Her Pets Walking Dead Plushies in CHALLENGE 86 ENTRIES by TrickyMcVomit on: May 03, 2013 06:27:13 PM
I sent these bad boys (and girl) to thehappycrochetchic for the Walking Dead Swap Round 2
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=418759.0#axzz2SHTjeNu8
It seems I don't have a 100% photo of them all, the pets are missing their chains and Michonne her katana but they are complete in the gallery if you feel so inclined to check it out. Those things really aren't that important. They are roughly 7 inches high and the pets eyes glow in the dark.

and as a bonus, here is the display box I made for them.

They were extremely difficult to ship off. I've been a part of 25 swaps, and these are by far my favorite creations.
