Yay!   I received from Satsuki today, and she did a great job.  I love the fabrics she chose, they are too perfect for me.  She sent a great tote, pillow, picture frame, plushie magnets, a purple bear with candy and lots of other Halloween goodies.  My son stole all the little goodies, he felt like they were sent just for him! (He's 6  Cheesy)  Thanks so much, great swap!

115  Re: All About Bags Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by carrieme on: September 07, 2007 07:05:10 PM
I received from emlee_bee today, yeah!! Smiley

She sent me an awesome laptop tote made with cherry fabric which I love.  It has a zippered pocket in the center the size of the tote, and elastic topped pockets on the inside lining and pen pockets.  It also has 2 large pockets on the outside.

It has a padded envelope style bag with Velcro closure to hold and protect the laptop, and I LOVE the lining cherry fabric.  As you can see I had used that same fabric last month to make my Hello Kitty a new dress.  They match!

I'm super pleased!  Thanks so much emlee_bee, you did a beautiful job!!

116  Shea Bay Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by carrieme on: August 29, 2007 06:51:49 PM
I wanted to try and make a bowling type bag and this is what I came up with. I just used stash scraps but I think it is now my favorite!  The dog on the front is my dog Shea Bay, he's a maltedoodle and the sweetest.  Smiley  You can download the dog  shape on Anna Maria Horner's blog.  I think it would make a cute t-shirt too!

117  Sara's bags in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by carrieme on: August 29, 2007 06:20:43 PM
I made these bags for my friend Sara today, purse, wallet and coin purse.  She pretty much gave me free reign with these.  You have to smile when someone says, "You decide, I trust you!"  Can't wait for her to see them!

I used ghilie's awesome Poppet pattern but turned her into a kitty,  inspired by my family's long ago kitty Sylvie.  I think Sylvie would approve, she would love the dress! Wink

Great pattern ghilie!!!

Here is a picture of all the goodies I received form bruisedpeach22!  Sorry it took so long  Embarrassed I love the set of ice cream dishes, we had some just like them when I was little.  The ice cream fabric is too cute, I'm really going to think about how I'm going to use it. And there is a little zipper pouch and tissue holder too. I love everything! Thanks so much!
