Hi! So I bought these cute mittens from Walmart in the fall and the other day the gathering at the top of the right hand mitten came apart. I am hoping I can fix this because I don't want to have to buy new mittens. Here are pictures of what the left mitten looks like and what the right one looks like. Any sewing tips would be appreciated

PS: The lining is still in perfect condition; it's the patterned outside fabric that came apart.

So I want to start the year off with a clean room, and my yarn is one area that needs improving. My question is: where in the world do I start? I was so good at keeping my yarn clean and organized, but now they are in such big knots and it's driving me nuts! Has anyone else been in my position? What did you do and how did you clean up your stash??

What is the best way to deal with or prevent (if possible) those big knots from forming in the center of my center-pull balls?

Having to untangle those knots that constantly form really slows me down, so I am just wondering what you all do when this happens to you? Thanks in advance!
