12  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: Sophia Loren Stencil w/tutorial on: December 07, 2004 09:18:25 PM
Alrighty, I made my first shirt last night (Front: I like my pillows dirty.  Back: Picture of a bed.  [Nobody understands it  Cheesy])

I used fabric paint I bought at Michaels (and used my employee's discount  Grin).  Only did this because I couldn't find the fabric medium, and now I'm happy I didn't.  Some tips that I learned are... don't put the paint on too thickly, let the paint completely dry, put the words too far apart, and don't use too big of a brush!  Hehe.  Also I remember that you had to iron and blah blah, but I didn't use vinegar.  Once it was all dry, I just ironed it with a damp cloth over it.  It looks awesome to me, and I love it.  And I'm making more...

Hmm.  I can cook, clean, craft, and am heterosexual.  Yet still am single.  Damn my young age.

There's also all three Michael's.  Clarence (on Transit), Walden, and Boulevard.

I've never seen it done before, but thanks to Trading Spaces *flips the tv off* I have paint on the mind.

Why don't you use the chalkboard paint, and paint the outside of the binder?  Then you can use chalk to write on it and what not.  That way you can draw, then erase.  So cool?  Maybe only to me.   Cheesy

Well if you are talking about the Pampers wipes green box, I would just buy the refills.  That's what our family does, seeing as how we all prefer them over toilet paper.

Not very crafty, but eh.

I very much like this idea... the only thing I don't understand is how to actually make the postcards?

Buying some is blah.  Make, create, but how?
