1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Made a Stencil - C/C needed on: October 13, 2007 07:04:12 PM
So I made my first stencil. It's of Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With the Wind. I wanted to know a) if it looks alright and b) if it looks like her?

2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / I am so lost! on: February 11, 2007 04:16:07 PM
So we have a giant media arts project and I'm sooo out of inspiration!

Basically we had to choose a theme and I chose Obsessions. I wanted to showcase all of my favourite things in some form of artwork. It can be anything from a movie, to painting to whatever but I'm afraid that I won't think of anything all that great.

So far, I've thought of perhaps a Digital Scrapbook using Macromedia Flash, or some sort of website.

I've also thought of a regualr scrapbook or just ordinary book.

I wanted to show off this project with some Graphic Art that I love to make.

What do you all think? Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance!
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Bedroom Ideas [Image Heavy] on: October 17, 2006 04:05:22 PM
During the X-Mas Holidays, I want to re-arrange, add, remove, etc things to my bedroom.

These are the some themes I'm thinking of:
Black and White
50's
Marilyn Monroe
Pink
Movies
TV
Music
Lyrics
Horror

Here are some images of my bedroom now (don't mind the mess)

Closet:

Rest of Bedroom:

Basically, no painting, due to renting of the apartment
Also, for the closet, I'm turning into more of a "reading area" because it is big enough, just wondering is anyone has any ideas about that as well

But if you have any other ideas, tell me please Cheesy
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Need Ideas for a bracelet on: August 28, 2006 06:13:43 PM
So I have some really nice buttons shaped as hearts and stuff and I was wondering if anybody had any ideas. the buttons are somewhat small, about 1cm x 1cm or so.

Also, is there a way to make the bracelet come on and off without using a clasp, but it fits perfectly on the wrist without having to leave it on all the time?
5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / I need ideas! on: October 11, 2005 01:01:07 PM
Hi there! I really wanna make some stuff for my room but I don't know what! So I've come to my buddies at craftster to help me  Wink

I bought 2 sheets at Value Village. 1 sheet is a bunch of poses of Mickey Mouse. The other is Smurfs! w00t!

I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas of what I can do with these items to spiff my room up Smiley My room is pretty boring by the way.

All I really thought of was make a few throw pillows, but I want something else. What do you all think I should do with these sheets?
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / free vintage/mod patterns on: October 07, 2005 11:44:40 AM
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find any free patterns for vintage/mod clothing? Dresses preferably
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Bedroom Revamp on: August 14, 2005 06:57:36 PM
So, I want to revamp my room.

There's a MSPaint type version of my room cuz I'm too lazy to go upstair and take pictures of the stupid stuff...mostly since there's crap in there that isn't usually in there cuz we're cleaning carpets.

So.. there are tons of crap in my room (ie posters mostly). I want a room with a 50's/60's/70's/80's (in other words, retro) style look, and I don't think there should be many posters. I'd like to keep maybe 1 - 3 things up, but the rest are definitely going. I was also thinking about making a homemade canopy for my bd made out of an old translucent curtain (what do you think of that? If you have any ideas for it, it would be appreciated)

So.. I would appreciate some ideas of what I should do with my room.
