Thank you all so much for the compliments.

Azzurra,  I am afraid I couldn't find your items.  More specifically, I could read the sight.  I just found a listing of the crystal colors.

I figured that it was about time I posted something here instead of just lurking.
Please tell me what you think!

I used Swarovski bicones and seed beads in a Chevron stitch.  I think that the turquoise with the jet creates a real tribal feeling.
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: snaps? on: April 18, 2007 01:26:22 PM
I have the same snap fitter as brubendall  and I haven't had a problem yet.  They have easy to follow illustrations and rubber rings to kind of hold the parts for you to set them.  I do suggest not squeezing too hard so you don't squish the parts and to set your snaps on an interfaced piece of material especially if it's a thin cotton.  Hope this helps

You all have given me the urge to try again.  I did not have a good experience the first time I tried these pliers.

I think it was also depend on the strength of the magnet.  I don't know if I would use a lot of them, but one shouldn't make too much of a difference.

Very cute.  I love the cherry lining to continue with the cherry theme.

Hmm, tried curving the wire and I didn't like it.  I think it's the simplicity that appeals to me.

Darn.  Thought that would do it, but you are right.  They are beautifully simple.

I would just say to be careful with the fish charms.  Are they glass?  I had a charm like that break, since they were always bumping things.

I love your spirals! What a neat twist on using chain to hang like that! Very inventive!

I agree.  The spirals add a nice touch.

I wish I could figure a way to add a place for post earrings here.

Any ideas?

I have to say that the birthday card with the ticket is very cool.

I do love your use of the buttons.  Very nice.
