21  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Sky Pirate Paper Zeppelin on: September 18, 2014 07:53:35 AM
Thanks everyone Smiley

Excellent design/geometry!  The white text on the red background that the balloon sports makes me think of the Coca Cola logo.

The paper I used is from a collection from G45 called Typography, that particular pattern is Inspire It doesn't quite look so Coca-Cola red in real life  Wink
22  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Sky Pirate Paper Zeppelin on: September 18, 2014 07:04:35 AM
Not toooo long ago I drafted a paper rocket ship for Graphic 45. While making the rocket ship I knew I could apply the same template to create something even cooler than a rocket... a sky-pirate zeppelin! And so the fleet of flying things in my studio has grown to include this papery bit of goodness.

The piece measures under 8" x 10"

Wait till you see what MissingWillow sent to me!

Magical soaps that somehow managed to get my kid to take a bath just so he could smell like monkey farts.

These stunning poisonous (or at the very least quite dangerous) embroidered napkins.

They really are the most amazing things and I will cause bodily harm to anyone who dares to soil them.

AND (as if getting my kid in the tub wasn't enough) ... big fat drum roll ...

A QUILT! A MO FO' QUILT! I've always said I would die for a quilt and although I didn't pass away, I did do a happy dance and feel quite faint.

It's all sorts of Gorey good and I love it Smiley

WOo hoo! THANK YOU MissingWillow!  Kiss Kiss Kiss

25  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: Wee House Craftalong-Ongoing 2011-Forever! on: August 18, 2014 01:05:13 PM
Not exactly a wee house... more of a wee room, a cellar actually.

Measures just over 7" x 5" x 5"
26  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / A wee wine cellar on: August 18, 2014 11:45:51 AM
I made this wee wine cellar in a glass boxy thing-a-ma-bob. It measures around 7" x 5.5" x 5.5"

My favourite is the squishy sloppy wino foot prints Smiley

How fun!

I  picture a fleet of these (and similar ships of the air) hung on fishing filament from the ceiling of some stylish young man's bedroom.  So cute!

Young men my boot! I've got a fleet started and hanging in my studio Wink
