My husband has been asking for months so this afternoon I decided to give the sharpie baked mug tutorial floating around Pinterest a try by drawing an enemy from one of his favorite video games on one.



He loved it when I handed it to him and then asked where was I able to find a Metroid mug.  The funny thing was I came into the room with the mug and sharpies in hand and sat down on th couch next to him well I looked up how you draw a Metroid AND proceeded to draw on one of our mugs!

The paint chip page is awesome and makes me super happy!  What a great idea for a journal.

I've read the first two Chicks books.  The first one was amazing and a great summer read.  Sadly, I wasn't impressed with the second book.  It think it's because it reminded me way too much of myself when I was 14.  Still I'm happy to see a third one coming out.
