1  Modified Coupon Organizer in Completed Projects by Caya on: March 07, 2007 01:53:47 PM
I got really tired of the cheap coupon organizers. I could find exactly four styles- all of them felt wrong in the hand. The ones made of all nylon, with inner cardboard dividers, were cheap and small and flimsy. The ones made of plastic had this outside cover-flap that never folded all the way back- it is stiff and awkward and annoying. There was one that was covered in some sort of leather, but on the inside, it is a cardboard divider- for $20! Puh-leeze.

So, I decided that what I liked about the plastic organizers was that they held together pretty well, even though I hated the outside cover-flap. I decided to replace the flap.

I will show the pictures first, and then explain how I did it. I know I should have taken pictures during the process- I didn't, sorry! This is my first version, if I like it and it works well, I might make another that looks all pretty. I just used what I had on hand.
