If you dont mind my asking, what program are you using as a screen saver for your computer? Thank you

I don't mind you asking at all...it's called FLIQLO. You can get it here:

Are the tiles you're using smooth on both sides? The ones I use have one smooth side and one textured side. I stick the image to the textured side so the glue has something to hold on to.

thanks everyone for all your nice comments! i actually finished the room last summer, but it got messy before i could take pictures and i only recently found time to clean it up.

Oh a clean and organised space is such a pleasure to live in....doesn't last more than a day in my case!  Cheesy Just an idea for your books though--how about an unser the bed box for the smaller and paperback ones. Then you could slide it in and out of the way, but still have your books nearby!
i really like your idea, it works really well for me cause i do most of my reading in bed...i just need to find boxes that aren't plastic looking cause my bed is quite high off the ground and you can see right under it.

It's really lovely! Did you paint your bed? Is it black or a dark brown? My mom has an antique iron bedframe she is saving for me for when I move and it is white at the moment but I like the way yours looks.
the bed is a really dark brown..didn't paint it, got it at IKEA...if i were you and i had an antique white bedframe, i'd leave it as is and work my room around it...just my $0.02...

my bedroom used to be a very dark green with orange and purple accents...i wanted something calmer, so i did this (it took three coats of paint)

i painted this dresser (it used to have a plastic looking "maple" veneer)

stuff on top of dresser

my bed

close up of stuff on side table

the other side table

chair that under normal circumstances is covered with clothes

shelf filled with craft supplies and misc other stuff

my desk (this is as clean as it's ever been)

another shelf, this one filled with books (i need a bigger one, half of my books are in storage cause they don't fit)

That is a really pretty necklace. Love that pendant! I am going to hazard a guess that the stone flower pendant is aventurine. Looks like it from the photos. Smiley

that's it! brilliant!
