I think the movie is cute but I also hate just even shopping at pet stores and hearing that....Look Mommy It's Nemo It's Nemo..it's also really bad and the Zoo...

This is actually an old project i did and I"m just now getting around to posting it.  he's beein in there about 8 months and it holds about a liter, much more than the small tupperwear he came in from walmart Sad

I'm sorry I just found this post and have not read everything but Beta's can survive in MANY places.
My roommate had a vase with water plants in it...maybe slightly larger than the lava lamp and he had a beta in it and it lasted until he had to get rid of it.
I think this was an awesome idea!

Beta's are like a dime a dozen.
