took a little baby food jar
wrapped it in a thin layer of sculpty, baked it
added various faux beads/findings
painted some dried 'branches' and
now i have a mini-vase for a little color and texture

i made them in 'small, medium, and large' tossed some in a little basket and let everyone grab one!
added a little red or green silky ribbon accent

a friend who had been happily married forever, just recently lost her beloved partner--i took one of the last photos of them together, mounted it in a bottle cap, covered it with clear plastic (circle from bottled water) and designed them to be reversible--i used the 'frostie blue cream' because my grandson occasionally drinks these, i thought they were cool, so had kept a few of them--and so i could call them 'frostie, cause willi's so cool'  when i send them to willi--hope she likes them!

not sure if this is the correct place to post this or not, but here it is:
i made this suncatcher/ornament for my sister who lives in texas, and all the rest of our family live here in arkansas--the photo is of her son, wife, and kids---dress in western clothes--my sister hangs lots of little sunsnatchers, and ornaments in the tropical potted garden she has on the corner of her patio--she's gonna love this one!

used silver art wire, silver glass seed beads, large silver sequin, and circle from water bottle--then fashioned a clasp so she can hang it whereever she wants

i did this for my sister who lives in texas, while all the rest of our family live here in arkansas---the photo is of her son, wife, and grandkids all dress in western clothing--she will enjoy this!
started with an old watch--took it apart--kept the bezel, discarded the 'workings'


then i wire wrapped the outside, and edges where the strap was attached, the beaded around it with silver glass seed beads


finally, i beaded a 'bracelet' and added a hand created clasp--the wire is all silver colored artistic wire

recent painting done in reference to psalms 103:20 regarding the angels--the stretched canvas is approx 2' x 3' and done with acrylic paints--the final gloss varnish gave me some hassels while trying to photograph, but i really was happy with how this one turned out--now in private collection
