The adult in me:   LOVE the crayon box! It is a very simple idea, yet creative and well-done.

The child in me:   Cool! I wonder what it would look like if you colored with it! Cheesy
2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Need input from the colorblind on: June 07, 2010 10:19:25 AM
My boyfriend couldn't see them. Must be varying degrees of colorblindness. I noticed the color saturation difference too. It seems like those tests are more faint and pastel, but it looks like they work to some degree.

Shocked Package received?!   Angry Ingrate! Zombiroo deserves way more praise than that.  Screw him. Zombie + marsupial = flipping sweet.

5  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Re: If you are not currently a Friend of Craftster... on: May 11, 2010 06:07:18 PM
I decided to become a FOC in celebration of breaking 200,000 members. Maybe I'm just 'thick as a felt boot' as my dad would say, but I couldn't find where to subscribe. I actually had to google 'become a friend of craftster' to be able to find this thread, which had the link. While I have since seen where you can upgrade from your profile *facepalm* maybe having a link on the homepage may lead idiots the unobservant like me where to go. I appreciate that you're not beating us over the head with ads and reminders to join (which was actually a factor in my deciding to become a paying member), but I think another link on the sidebar or something may remind us all to join. I also like the idea of homepage customization - the side ads don't bother me.

7  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Spinning classes on: May 03, 2010 10:04:26 AM
I'm relatively new to spinning, and my wonderful bf got me a beautiful Ashford traditional wheel for my birthday. I've been searching all over the web for tutorials and other info, and I'm able to make some decently even singles, but I feel like I still don't really know what I'm doing as far as overspinning, etc. I live in Houston, TX, and apparently no one spins there, or maybe there's a secret society of underground spinners, cause I can't seem to find any help or supplies locally.   Undecided   Any other ideas on how to improve my skills?

I bow at your prowess of all things tiny and shiny! How in the world did you get them so evenly spaced?! Amazing, and very professional looking job! Grin
10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: "Firefly" cross-stitch on: July 25, 2009 06:21:59 PM
AWESOME work! Love me some Browncoats!

P.S. For those of you who haven't seen Firefly (and you all should), it's on Hulu. There. Now you have no excuses... Grin
