1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Industrialish Key Pendants (photo heavy-ish) on: June 20, 2012 02:06:42 PM
They're gorgeous! I especially love the butterfly and mother-of-pearl ones, the elements just fit together so seamlessly on those.
2  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Re: Let's talk balls on: June 07, 2012 02:54:48 PM
I've never come across the idea of dryer balls, but I love the idea of a bowl full of brightly coloured felt balls as decoration/playthings (let's face it, they're bound to get picked up and thrown around!). Thanks for the tutorial link - what a great idea to use the tights, I was thinking "gosh, that's a lot of work!"
3  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Re: Needle Felted Trumpet Earrings on: June 07, 2012 02:44:55 PM
These are gorgeous! Who'd have thought felt could look so elegant? Love the shapes and colours.
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: The Hobbit Mirkwood Neclace (with loads of work-in-progress pics) on: June 04, 2012 01:19:09 PM
There's no shame in using pre-made parts - I just think you should be extra proud of your handmade ones, because they're stunning! Cheesy

Thanks for the info! Thought it must be something like that, it's so neatly done though that I wasn't sure if it was painted and my eyes were messing with me!

That's an exquisitely wearable work of art. Love how so many of the major elements (the web pendant, spiders, chain...) are handmade too, even though it would have been possible to find most of them pre-made if you'd really wanted to. All that extra effort makes it that much more special!
7  FIBER ARTS / Weaving: Completed Projects / Re: Hitchhiker's towel on: January 27, 2012 11:54:07 AM
Genius. It's perfect. I want one!!!

I like the barbed wire one and the graffiti one but I think my favourite is the green and cream striped one in the bottom photo! How did you do that?
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Japanese Flower scarf... on: December 29, 2011 02:10:18 PM
This is really beautiful! Pretty design and I love those colours together.
10  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Melted crayon painting tutorial- Peacock on: December 11, 2011 04:04:51 AM
This is gorgeous, again - I don't think it needs a background, this lets the peacock speak for itself. What a brilliant idea to use the glue gun to get some accuracy, and thanks for letting us all in on your techniques. Totally inspiring. Now I have to go get canvas and some cheap crayons! Cheesy
