Wow, really beautiful shirt. It looks good on you.
2  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: New Zealand only Round 2 (Signup March 16 - 24 SEND 14 April) on: March 21, 2008 01:20:42 AM
So cool that you are organising this MM.

Unfortunately I won't be able to join as I'm going to be very busy in the next month with my graduation, quitting my job and various other things.
Hopefully once I've left my job (which sucks up *all* my time) I'll be able to start swapping again.  Sad

Nothing has turned up yet  Sad
I don't think you should have to send out another one. It is so much time, effort and money. I'm happy with the parcels I have received, and if yours turns up that will be an added bonus.
Thank you all the same for trying to be my angel  Smiley

Dina - you can close up the swap now, thanks for everything  Smiley

You haven't heard 'crazy hair'?

Oh dear, oh dear
do not worry
It's right here:

As for the necklace, in the book Barnabas creates a necklace/collar out of the sigils to restrain Delirium. Hence why her sigil is not on the chain.
5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Wicked/Wizard of Oz/Tin man swap on: February 28, 2008 01:01:13 AM
Wicked = awesome!

I've just finished reading the book. I've got the soundtrack for the musical, but I haven't seen any performances (except some youtube clips) 'cause I'm all the way in the antipodes.
Once my internet is back up to full speed I'll keep an eye out for those Tin Man episodes.  Cheesy

I'd love for this swap to go ahead. I was just thinking today that I'd love to own a pair of ruby slippers Cheesy

I believe the pig-puppets are a reference to an similar creature in 'Wolves in the Walls'. The main character has a pig-puppet, who is the only one who believes her that there are wolves inside the walls.

I love that needle roll and those soaps look so lovely  Cheesy

Isn't it all so cool!
The embroidery on the fish is wonderfully done - unfortunately I sent MM some embroidered stuff and it's nowhere as good. I'm such an embroidering noob.  Embarrassed

As for the badge - please tell me the picture isn't handpainted. 'Cause you know I'm jealous enough as it is since you have access to a badge-making machine. If the picture is done by you I might just implode in an admiration/jealousy mix.

I love the necklace! It's the first necklace I've ever had that has a bar and hoop closure. And I'd never even heard of doming resin until MM mentioned it. The t-shrt is very cool, and fits me perfectly. I wore it and the necklace to work today  Cheesy

lol, I hadn't even noticed the accidental paint spill  Cheesy

Got my parcel today  Smiley Photos will be up tomorrow. In the mean time I'll taunt you a bit with a description. Remember how MM mentioned that it was an unusually shaped packge? Well when mum picked it up she thought it looked like it held a broom, when I came home and saw it I thought it looked like an old-fashioned camera and tripod. Very strange indeed  Wink
