This is the page I just received from Heini.  I am just finishing up a mushroom swap, so this is perfect for me.  I love the hand painted shroomies, and I love the colors. Grin

It's a rainy day here, so I can't take pics outside. Do you have any better quality pics you can post Heini?

Glad you like the flower!  It took ages to dry, but I liked the way it turned out too.

here's the page I received from neverseenblue

Isn't it neat?  I really like bottle cap art, Cheesy Neverseenblue did such a good job lining up the faces inside the caps.  I also like that Tim Burton ish kind of border.  But the thing I like probably the most of all is the house!  I know you probably can't see it in the photo very well, but the house is painted onto text of Sense and Sensability!  That is my daughters fave Jane Austen book and movie.  Mine too  Cheesy  It was just the icing on the cake

a close up so

I thought I would post pics of the angel page that I sent to Bon, hope that's okay?

It says " when you only have two pennies left in all the world buy a loaf of bread with one and a lily with the other."

WOOHOO!! I have received a wonderful swap packageE!

First of all my DD was so super excited to do this swap.  She is helping craft some of the things we're sending to Rainbow_Storms, so she also wanted to do the modeling  Wink  She wanted to try "Martha Hands"   Wink

here's a super cute magnet, I really like the paper used to make the mushroom cap.

Stuffed Shroomies! DD wants the pink one, I've already got dibs on the green, since #1 it's my fave color and #2 it's a Mario Mushroom! ( I need to power up  Grin )

we also received some cute earrings and a necklace charm!

Here is one of my favorite items, a hand made postcard!  The colors on this are so pretty, and we both loved the style it is made in.

Thanks for being such a great swap partner Rainbow_Storms, you sent a great package!  I'm just sorry it took me so long to get pictures posted  Sad

I've received from crafty-dame!  This page is so beautiful, I love the colors.  I have been admiring the lovely see through images that Crafty has been making over at the tip in swap (the gallery) and I'm so excited because she sent me one!!

Isn't it wonderful !?!

Crafty also sent me some cool stuff called punchinella.  I'm going to use it to make dots everywhere.  I know it's a little off topic to post pics of this stuff, especially crappy pics like these, but I'm sure some of you are going to find dots on your ancestors so .....

I received from the_trademarks today!

I really like how they are standing in a field of meadow flowers!  Grandma's crown is very fitting for her, her fave color was red!

Thanks the_trademarks, it's perfect!

I have recieved a really cool page from ARoze!

Okay, I just have to ask, Did you make new base pages using black, did your book come with black pages, or did you color your pages black yourself? (I really like the black border on the page, in case you couldn't tell.  Cheesy )

I have received a fantastic page from Banga!  I love the colors on this, and that image is so familiar to me, but I don't have a clue why.  Maybe it kinda reminds me of the illustrations in an old joke book that my sister had?

there are all of these swirls and scrolls done in clear embossing (I think) and beautiful lettering on the wings.  This is another one of those pages I wish I could pass around for everyone to see and feel.

Thanks for the wonderful page, it is amazing  Cheesy

30  altered altoids/gum tin in Completed Projects by just_lisa on: April 21, 2008 01:38:19 PM
I always have a couple packs of gum in my purse, mostly half empty, or maybe just one piece left in them.  Very annoying.  So I altered an altoids tin to keep all of my gum in.  I'm not too concerned with keeping the flavors separate, I only buy flavors I like, and they don't hang around in the tin long enough to all start tasting alike.

I received the music from one of my tip-in swap partners and wanted to use it with this bird image.

I may rip the top paper off of the inside of the tin.  I like it, but I think I might like it better gone.

I slipped in a little bit of the music on the inside edge.  I wanted it to be very unobtrusive, and purposefully unaligned since I like things very plain and simple.  Although now that I look at it I think I should have maybe used a deckle edge?
