Oh how I love Ravelry & instant gratification knitting!

http://www.creativestitchonline.com/pattern.html

Finished one brother & sister in one evening. They turned out so cute. I am going to try to recruit some fellow knitters to join in on this quick & fun project!
I plan to knit these until I run out of the brown yarn I have left over from another project and will send them off this summer!

To funny! My dd has just sparked an interest in learning to juggle and then I came across this pattern. I might play with the size a little since she is only 6.  Great, easy, & super FAST pattern. Each eyeball took about an half hour.
I made two sets. One for dd & one for her daddy to teach her!

5  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Re: First Raw Fleece: Picking, Washing & A Question on: April 10, 2009 07:37:56 PM
Well, I can tell you how I deal with vm.  After washing, I dye and lightly fluff the locks to lay out to dry. Next I pick the locks with my mini picker and drum card.  Finally spin!  I find that most of the vm falls out through out the processing  As for those really dirty locks, I decide the fate of them after picking.

I also am not a fan of handcarders.  I bought a drum carder shortly after my first set of handcarders!  I decided I love carding, just not by hand!  I know my local spinning guild rents out a drum carder for $10 a month.

Great colors so far!

I finally took pictures of all of my yarns so far this year.  I love my yarns but maybe I should just go back to spinning traditional yarns.  BUT the reason I learned to spin to begin with was to spin art yarns.  I don't know...

I cant take a decent picture to save my life.  These yarns look so much more alive in person.  Anyway, sorry to bring the fun Friday mood down  Tongue
Have a great weekend!

I have wanted to do this for a long time. And last night while watching President Obamas inauguration, I was finally inspired. I was happy to share the joy of the day with my children.
