1  Hand Towels in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by southern5footer on: November 18, 2008 11:04:59 PM
TheMistressT made these a while back. They inspired me to make my own.

I don't have a bias tape maker so I had to do it the old fashion way.

My newest obsession is sandblasting glass vases and candle holders and things. Here are the latest.

What do you think?

4  Alice and Cheshire WIP- Pic Heavy in Needlework: Discussion and Questions by southern5footer on: September 19, 2007 07:13:08 PM
I have been working on this project for a couple weeks now and am very excited about the results. :-) Obviously this is still a work in progress, but I thought I'd share what I've done thus far. (Excuse the wrinkles...) - I plan to mount and frame it for my brother (27 years old) because it is his fav movie!! Smiley hehe

I took a few coloring book pages and traced parts onto fabric. I may add a breadfly and the white rabbit depending on how long this takes and now how long my poor arm takes to heal. I've given myself tendinitis working on this thing. So my wrist gets a little break and then I will hopefully finish it soon. Smiley

I am going to use glow in the dark thread for his smile... Smiley

What do you think? C&C welcome.

*Is this the right place to post WIPs? * Feel free to scold me and move this if I am wrong. Smiley

5  Re: Ring bearer pillow, as a bride to be do you like? in Weddings and Bridal Showers by southern5footer on: May 03, 2007 12:47:17 PM
I think it is pretty, my only suggestion would be to (maybe) add something in the middle, so it gathers the pillow??

Sort of like this?

PS I looked at google images for "ring bearer pillows" and saw many nice ideas.

Since holistercobabe has received her apron, I figured I would post a picture of what I sent. I hope you liked it.

8  Mouse Bib. First Ever Needlework in Needlework: Completed Projects by southern5footer on: March 28, 2007 10:38:28 AM

This was my first attempt at needlework. This was supposed to be all cross-stich (per the package I bought) but I altered the stitches the way I thought would look nice.

What do you think? I have a lot to work on and learn, but I think he is cute.

This is for my best friend's sister who is expecting her first child! Smiley
