This is my first post here. I usually lurk around and see other people’s ideas. These last few pages of posts however have gotten me really scared however. I’m not having a wedding shower or we don’t have a website so I included our registry card in the invites. We bought a really expensive cookware set from the place and the card directs them to a site showing what we bought. If they want they can purchase a gift certificate towards the cookware for our gift. I didn’t know what else to do with the card and we don’t want gifts but it would be nice if we could pay this cookware off as the interest is KILLER! I’m not conservative AT ALL really so I don’t get offended by these types of things. Thank GOD the invites haven’t gone out yet. Should I take the card out? I think I should at least re-word what I wrote on the back for sure. Right how it says “Help us own our cookware sooner than later”. I think it should read something like “If you wish to purchase a gift for the couple, you can help us own our cookware sooner than later”. What do you guys think?
