It depends on the day & how my skin is behaving if I use everything or switch things around. This is my less expensive part of my eyeday routine. I switch things up a bit when I feel like it.

I would suggest
- some kind of face makeup
- concealer
- blush
- eyeliner
- eyeshadow
- a lipstick and/or tint.

It's the typical but the most useful.

Stay with the common brands - Covergirl ect.. if you can't afford the better makeup. Cheap makeup, other than those brands, isn't worth buying for the most part.
Find out what works best for your skin - foundation or powder some can use both while others can't.
Don't overdo any of  your makeup
When you're applying eyeliner do so that it doesn't show it brings out your eyes without looking like you got attacked with a pen.

It's quite easy. If you have a jean madeline school near you, they actually have a one hour makeup class that can help you. It's 10-15 bucks I believe. They will go over how to do the applications & what works best with your face. As for products I use, I live for clinique & sephora. I have far too many products to name. I feel as if I'm not really helping but you can PM me or ask other questions. I'll actually come post what brands I use in a second.

Also, what is your eye & hair color?

6  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Discussion and Questions / City Garden on: July 01, 2005 03:03:15 PM
we live in south philadelphia with an average size back (cement) yard & i was thinking of spicing it up a bit. the problem is, i have no idea where to start. we get stray cats that we feed, so of course i have to keep them in consideration, & we let our dogs out in the yard every so often. my one dog eats anything, she's a piggy.

Does anyone have any good sites other than you grow girl?

Some places:

- See if any shows are coming
http://www.r5productions.com

- The Fabric Workshop and Museum
http://www.fabricworkshopandmuseum.org/

- Art Museum
http://www.philamuseum.org/
(can you tell i like museums? this one is fab, it has everything from paintings to artifacts & whatnot. they even have rooms set up from different countries. this is the place for a nerd like me.)

I enjoy walking around center city, for the buildings & the people. oh and GO TO CHINATOWN. Don't let the look of it turn you around. They have cute imported goods & cheap stuff. There's a few bakeries that are crowded all the time but worth the trip. I'll shut up now. You can go to http://www.phillyvisitor.com/ which is a great site. There are others to get opnions on where to eat & whatnot.

I could think of more later, i'm sure.
