3  Horrors Cupcakes.... in Dessert by rhiWICKED on: February 26, 2007 07:06:11 AM
my friends and I are rather obsessed with these young fellows:

so i made some cupcakes in dedication to them for a little party i was throwing Smiley

i was really happy with how they came out (especially as the cupcakes were so dinky)

[joshua's amazing hair was rather difficult to capture with icing Sad]

4  Op-Art Dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by rhiWICKED on: February 26, 2007 06:58:23 AM
for my last art project i decided to look at the 60s and 70s and the art and fashion styles of those periods (without my sketch book the shape of the dress doesnt make sense... but if you could see thw whole thing.. you'd get it Smiley)

anyway, its rather poor considering i had just 12 hours to do all the painting, stencil making and prints and sewing.

heres how it turned out:

(i was quite proud of how my "glaring twiggys" came out Smiley)

5  Post-it note dress. in Completed Projects by rhiWICKED on: February 26, 2007 06:54:14 AM
I am a prolific doodler.
and one day i was doodling tiny squares and they started to form a dress shape.

which i then decided looked like postit notes..
i coloured it in highlighters

and then decided i was going to make the dress for real.

so far i've just done it on a mini scale.

i had to glue gun the majority of them down as first time round they had trouble sticking and the dress started to mault.

next step: full sized dress (and/or having the guts to wear it in public.)

last year for my AS project (natural forms) I decided to look at the book Fairie-Ality

using the books concept [clothes (for fairies) made from leaves, flowers, etc.etc.] i made this:

took me a good few hours sitting in the garden last summer - but i think it came out quite lovely Smiley

basically its all held together using sellotape Smiley
