1  mmm, fluffy new mallows in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by delinquent dame on: January 23, 2009 05:17:03 PM
Here are some more of my themed Mallow stuffies:

This mallow was a commissioned plush, the request was an Orange Sequin Mallow.  I think he looks like a little orange disco ball!

This mallow is a Pink Fluff Mallow, with the felt I used for his body, he turned out sooo cuddly and squishy, perfect for hugs

And this is the Lovey Dovey Devil, one of my valentine creations.  He stands about 4 by 3.5, nice and pocket sized.

3  errg, screamsicle, and a blue foo. my newest stuffies in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by delinquent dame on: November 11, 2008 05:32:22 PM
here is errg, he got his name cause that just seems like the sound he would be making.  sadly he's got some meatloaf on him cause my dad and little bother thought it would be funny to toss him around at the dinner table.

close up of wings

and here's a pic of him destroying some legos, old school horror movie style

and then here's the screamsicle, his name obviously comes from the fact he kinda looks like a disturbed popsicle

and this is a foo, its the name i gave to this curious species of furry things. and if you didn't figure it out already, this one is blue

its fun to play with his fur and give him different hair styles

i'd love any comments, criticisms, or questions.  thanks for looking!

6  frankendame in Halloween Costumes by delinquent dame on: November 02, 2007 08:54:37 PM
my halloween costume this year was frankendame, i was going for the fifties pinup style when i thought of it.

its a simple halter dress with a lime green top. the mid section is a sparkly lime green, orange, and purple star print fabric for the front and back with back lace for the sides.  i put eyelets on the mid section to lace up the sides with green ribbon.  the skirt is a half cirlce with a sparkly halloween ribbon for the trim.  i was going to put ruffled lime green tulle along the bottom but that process didnt go as well as planned so i got rid of it.  i only used a part of a top pattern to make the mid section but still modified it a lot.  for the rest i just winged it.

the entire outfit:

my drawing:

the dress is quite flawed but im overall happy with it, and my outfit worked out perfectly.  as one of guy friends said "you look frankenfoxy"

8  ice cream cones in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by delinquent dame on: June 10, 2007 10:06:52 PM
here are my plush ice cream cones.

double chocolate swirl:

vanilla raspberry swirl:

sherbet:

they are made of felt.  the cone is a quarter of a circle folded in half and sewn.  the ice cream is a circle that is stitched around about an inch in from the edge and then gathered and sewn to the cone.  swirls are made with fabric paint and the sherbet is just cream colored felt painted.

other flavors ive made include : strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, mint chocolate chip, bubblegum, chocolate chip, and vanilla chocolate swirl.

im working on making spumoni and neopolitan and doing double scoops.
