1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Got some done and ready to go ........need input tho... on: July 03, 2008 10:14:42 AM
I have been busily tying knots, stringing and playing with shiney things.  I am considering starting to sell online, so need input on how the pictures look,  if they are good enough, dont' have too much glare.....you know all that stuff that drives a gurl crazy lol.  The board I put them on is a regular bulletin board covered with black burlap.  Each picture is labeled, some items I did close ups of.  I posted them on my MySpace to make it easy for all: This is my address, just copy and paste.  I also listed the name of the album.  I thank everyone for your advice, criticisms, and ideas.  I have been told that I should go for the dream, I have many fears on this step, but..... well.....gotta start sometime.

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Issues with finding large bead cone thingies!!!! on: June 25, 2008 06:25:53 PM
I have been experimenting with multi-strand seed bead strands prepratory to doing some amulet bags.  I have looked all over creation, yes even fire mountain, and have been unable to find large bead cones for the ends that will nicely cover 8-10 strands of seeds.  I also wish to be able to add larger bead strand perhaps up to a 6.0.   Undecided Sad  This is starting to drive me to distraction!)  I have seen them on ebay, but they need to be metal, and I can't do like you can in a store, touchy feely.  Anyone have any ideas let me know.  I have tried hobby lobby, my daughter is looking at ben franklins and michaels for me tomorrow.  I have like 5 necklaces ready to sell but for completing the ends.....grrrrrrrr
