I think it's an a-line skirt (or maybe a gathered rectangle style) with pockets put in on the front (they end on the side seams, see?) Here's an a-line tute: http://onecraftygirl.wordpress.com/2007/02/18/super-easy-patternless-a-line-skirt/ Don't forget to add the pockets before sewing the two sides together so you get that nice, clean line.

The skirt's really cute; I'm probably going to make a few myself! Thanks for posting it. Smiley
