Thanks for the comments, people!
I'm not much of a leggings person but I might give it a try.
thats so cute, and i really really love ur necklace =]
Ha, thank you. I wear it all the time, my dad brought it back for me from a trip to Argentina, last summer. I went there too during the Easter holidays, it makes me love that necklace even more. It's handmade, and I still wonder how someone can make something that pretty and tiny!

I wish we had more thrift stores in Belgium, I'd go on a huge shirt hunt Smiley
26  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Re: I sewed into my finger. on: June 06, 2007 01:11:15 PM
Thanks for the support all of you!
My finger has now healed up. My fingernail was ripped and it took a while until that grew out.

Well - to reply to hothermione: I learned to sew all by myself and I didn't see: Keep away from the needle in my sewing machine instructions, unfortunately  Roll Eyes But I learned through experience.

Be safe and stay away from the needle!

Woo-hoo!
I went to the thrift store yesterday and got myself an awesome XL shirt (1 euro yay!). It's even made in the usa  Shocked  It says 'DON'T FIGHT IT' on the front and 'PREFLIGHT IT' on the back, plus some advertisement. Soooo - this is the first thing I reconstructed really. I took in some shirts, but messed up most of the time...I actually wore it today to school. Okay, so it was arts & creativity class so I can be all different but it's still school Smiley

I used this tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=103577.0
by jesse phoenix. AWESOMENESS. Thank you!
Woo-yay pics!

I look like crap today, I know I know.

It looks a bit messy because of my pose, but it's okay in real life.

My pin has a skull with a beret that says: special forces, and also: mess with the best - die like the rest
BEST EVER PIN. I was twitching up a military beret in class too :O

Beautiful beautiful wallpaper...

No dude...just preflight it!

Post totally sponsored by my local thriftstore and Flightcheck...whatever that is Smiley

Whoow I got a cool big shirt at the thrift store today. It's brown and says DON'T FIGHT IT. I just followed your tutorial and made it, dude!
It's awesome- I might actually wear it!
It's one of the first things I ever sewed, and it was really easy.

THANKS!
I might post pics of it in a distant future =D
30  EUROPE / NETHERLANDS / Re: "Snap Faster Kit"? on: June 05, 2007 03:07:13 PM
Dankjewel, ik zocht niet naar die specifieke kit hoor. Ik heb gewoon nog nooit iets gezien dat er in de verste verte op lijkt. Dus nogmaals, bedankt voor de info!
