make them rhyme, and cut the paper into the shape of something relating to the clue.  The actual item of the location etc.

stock up a bunck of the newest chick mags: Cosmo, Elle, Vogue.  Enough so that everyone can have one to read.  And after that cut them up for a big collage on poster board!

haha!  Grunge, wear a flannel tied around your waist and vans sneakers.  Music could be Vanilla Ice, Pearl Jam, TLC, Maybe have Wayne's World.  Haha, if you could fit Kurt Loder in there is would be totally 90s!

Sucha  cute idea!  I would do a bunch of movies like Girls just wanna have fun, Desperately Seeking Susan, Sixteen Candels.  Ah a, I a child of the 80s or what.  And make one of those finger things that "tells the future"; you know where you pick  number, and then a color, and you get yes/no/maybe/ certainly.  Maybe a book of MadLibs.  and of course microwave popcorn.

It would be really cute to decorate the outside of your frontdoor as a wardrobe.  Use some brown roll banner paper and draw on it.  Super cute!  Maybe a paper lamp post on the wall.  Ditto on serving a high tea; scones tea sandwiches and such.

8  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Need help with ideas to make ornaments on: December 22, 2005 06:10:25 PM
I have some cute pictures I want to make ornaments out of.  I want them to be more substantial and lasting than say just cutting them out and laminating them.  Any ideas?  The one I have is to use plain tin cookie cutters to cut out part of the picture and use resin to fill in over the top of the pic, leaving the whole thing int he cookie cutter. But I have no idea how difficult it is to use resin.
9  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Knitty's Cleaves? on: November 20, 2005 07:51:41 AM
I know this thread is super old, but I've been waiting for ever to do this one!!  Did it turn out well for anyone with a relatively big chest?  I'd hate to make it, and never be able to wear it.  I tend to be short too.  Anyway, i checked yarndex last night and here are some suitable yarn substitutions with the same guage and the lambs pride.

Baby Alpaca Brush
Rowan Cork
Lambs Pride Superwash bulky
Debbie Bliss Merino Chunky
Cillonette Prisim
Classic Elite Zoom
And Himilaya Yarn Wool/Silk

I'm not sure which will be the best.
