Very pretty OspreyWife.

I took a break from mini-grannies to weave in all my ends, then last night I finished making the last of my squares.

I will be assembling as soon as I have some time this weekend and I'm considering what my next granny project will be.  I'm considering hexagons, I don't think I've ever made one before.

OPEN

Hello everyone.  I'm new to StS and very excited to be participating.  It's been a long time coming.  I live and craft in the middle of nowhere, also known as Northwestern Ontario, Canada.  I have cats and dogs and I shed quite a bit myself, but I'm pretty handy with a washing machine and a lint roller if I do say so myself; so hopefully allergies won't be an issue.  I have the attention span of a gnat, which is why I like to make random things that pop into my head or follow patterns that make me say Oooo shiny.  Rarely do I know what to do with these things when I'm done so StS seems to be an awesome way to find homes for my stuff.  I'd be happy to do custom work or recreate things from my shop in different sizes/colours/etc., but I can't promise I'll be quick.

Crafts
One point items
Tree skirt shades of burgundy, forest green and beige, the skirt is shown folded in half.  Fully opened the outside circumference can be 72 inches, but it can be overlapped on itself to make it fit your tree. -- sold to funthreads

Shawl or cowl.  I didn't have quite as much yarn as I thought so this shawl ended up a bit on the short side (66 inches long).  I have just enough yarn left to sew it up into a cozy cowl though if you'd like.  The yarn is a wool/something blend (probably acrylic) with no label.  I washed it on delicate and dried it flat and it seems fine, quite warm and soft.

Ami tree made to test a pattern for someone and now I'd like it to have a good home.  About 14 inches tall, it almost stands up by itself.  Smiley

Newsboy hat in purple and black acrylic.  A terrible picture I know, but it's the best I could get.  It's more of a puffy style newsboy that the close-fitted style, fits a normal adult size head (I will measure it soon).

Sunhat in rose/green/white cotton.  Floppy bucket style, made on the large size because I hate tight fitting hats, especially in the heat, but it is cotton so could probably be shrunk a bit.

Supplies
One point items
Scrapbook paper 25 sheets of various patterns, mainly blues, greens and browns.
Scrapbook supply kit lots of stickers and embellishments.

Afghan pattern magazine from Crochet Today!  Some really nice patterns but I already have all the magazines.  -- sold to funthreads

Very cute yarn and needles to knit a pink/green baby hat.

And I continue to monopolize this thread.  Smiley  Today's squares, only 10 left to go.

I'm early because a power outage this morning has me going to work late.  Yay!
Found my yellow and orange yarn.   Grin

16 to go.
I'm making a toy and it is my own pattern but I'm sure it is based on something I saw somewhere, once, probably.  My memory, she isn't what she used to be.  I really hope it works.

That afghan is beautiful Kittymom, love it, especially the border.  I think have some of that black and silver yarn that you used in your new square.  Not enough to do anything with though.  Are you making a whole afghan?

Ten more mini squares done for me.  Twenty to go.  I thought I had some more bright colours in my stash, but my project is turning out a bit more earth toned that I expected.  It seems like I'm drowning in bright yellow and orange yarn, until I need it.

Oh my what a horrible picture.  The far left is baby blue and the far right is beige.  Smiley

Missed a couple of days, but here are yesterday's tiny squares.

30 to go.

I'm in.  My starting granny project requires tiny little, fairly solid grannies, so this is what I came up with.   They won't lie flat, so I realize they look round, but I promise they are square and the construction will make them perfect.  I need 52 altogether, so here is today's start.  It's already too dark for good pictures, but they are green, peach, red and yellow.

I was unable to get an action shot of the awesome ponytail hat that DesignVigilante sent me (I fail at normal photos, taking a picture of the top of my own head is completely beyond me), so here it is modeled by my unlovely lamp instead.  It arrived just before our first snow and is absolutely perfect for work.

Thanks so much DV.  Smiley

*makes grabby hands at yarn*

Pretty!

I finally dug my way into my office and found my camera cord, so I'm FINALLY posting the lovely thank you I received from thedreamer.

A very cute little crocheted coin purse, which I have loaded up with pennies and dimes and whatnot and started using for my car cash.  Smiley   And a beautiful, leafy, autumn-coloured bracelet.  I'm sorry I don't have any action shots, but I am an absolutely terrible photographer, this was the best I could get and I tried a million times.

P.S.  Sorry partner, the raccoon shots didn't work at all.  Red eyes in the darkness was all I got.

Oh I almost forgot.  This swap is almost over - one thank you enroute, one angel thank you enroute and one more angel crafting - then we're done.  I'm thinking another round in the new year would be fun but if I organize again there will be a few small changes to expedite things.  This isn't a swap that should take more than three months to finish.   Grin  Any thoughts?
