1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Two new Barbie/Fashion doll or Paper doll room boxes on: March 18, 2012 08:11:47 PM
I created two more room boxes for doll furniture I made a about a month ago. Think I've found a new addiction  Shocked

This one is a bedroom scene, so far its my favorite. I did however realize that the from now on I will use either foam board or thin wood that I can cut myself. The cardboard just doesn't seem sturdy enough.

And another living-room box

2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Barbie Birthday Room-box on: March 08, 2012 07:57:21 AM
Created this Barbie living-room room box for my little cousin as a birthday present.

Pink and Brown sofa and love seat with ottoman made from recycled boxes and scrap fabric, the walls are from a free wallpaper book, and the box itself is made from a cardboard box that I cut in half.

4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Barbie/Fashion/BJD sofa and lounge set on: February 07, 2012 08:14:28 AM
One day my granddaughter came to me and asked if I could make a bed for her barbie. So I did! Then she says well she needs something to sit on when she wakes up, so I made her a sofa. I enjoyed it so much that I made these two sets as well. Now I think I'm obsessed.

After months of deliberation on wallpaper, and furniture placement. After weeks of lost crafting mojo, I am ALMOST done. Yes almost done with my mom's miniature bathroom room box. Now to stain the box and I'm done.

A few of the details:

What do you do with a grand-daughter that has toys, toys, and more toys but only visiting, no extra monies to buy a store bought toy chest. You look around your stash of crafty goodness and notice, and empty cardboard box, fabric, ribbon, and trim...... Huh  Roll Eyes  Shocked
