1  Re: DANCER SWAP (SIGNUP 23rd June 07 - 7th July 07 ; MAIL BY 13th August 07). in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by june_leaves on: July 07, 2007 03:22:58 PM
Here's a picture of me performing.  The camera caught me in an odd attack-like position, but it does show my costume. Smiley  All the pictures I have show this green hip scarf though... it's the one I wear the least!  Ah well.

p.s. I made the top and tassel belt and decorated the bra I am wearing here.  I'm especially proud of the top- it was one of those experiments that totally worked out!

2  Re: Tiny Crafts Swap--Favorite Colors! in The Swap Gallery by june_leaves on: June 30, 2007 02:00:21 PM
I actually received my package from emapril last Monday, but I've been slow with the posting.   It got to me much faster than I was expecting, considering it came all the way from Stockholm, Sweden to St. John's, Canada!

Here's the whole package!

She sent a green knitted sunglasses case (which will come in handy as I am terrible about mistreating my sunglasses), a pincushion in lovely colours, a sunny flower-shaped patch along with an adorable bottle filled with beads (her packaging totally outdid mine), a little pouch filled with buttons (yay buttons!!) and some of those flat sided marbles.  There's more marbles than I included in the picture... they kept rolling off the couch.  I was actually really excited about the marbles as I've been wanting to try making those magnets from them, but haven't been able to find them at the dollar store, and I refuse to pay expensive craft-store prices for things I know I can get at the dollar store.

Thank you so much emapril!   Your package was awesome and this has been a wonderful introduction to craftster swapping!  I can't wait to join another swap!

Closeup of the patch- I haven't decided what I will attach it to yet, but I will find something!

And a closeup of the pincushion.  It has a red button on one side and green on the other, as these are my favourite colours!  I really love it!

3  Tiny books from some time ago in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by june_leaves on: May 15, 2007 10:01:44 PM
I'm finally posting something I made!

I made a whole whack of these little books a while ago (they were quite addictive) and gave most away, but I still have these two and am still pleased by them!  I just thought I would show off a little.

two books:
