way cool! I'm going to have to look for some eyelet tape. I hate setting eyelets, and they pop out of knit fabric anyway.

Sweet! I'm always looking for stuff to do to old jeans... wish I had somewhere to wear something that short.

I agree, taking the seams out is a b****. I broke a seam ripper that way.

Cute! It looks like you could take the fabric from the legs and make a whole outfit out of it...

I swear I have more miscellaneous craft items then I can ever use. Shocked

 Wink Don't we all?

Nicely done. Now I'm wondering if I should just paint the old dresser I bought, or do something more interesting with it.......!

Sweet! I will never look at boring old office furniture in the same way.

Ruffle? I think it looks fine just as it is. But, up to you, of course.

Ambient lighting and table all in one? Brilliant! (If you'll forgive the pun.) Cheesy

The pattern is Simplicity 4119, with half the skirt cut off. Also, I had to use three little darts in the bust because the fabric was too heavy to gather a double thickness. It left this huge bubble between the fabric and the lining that pulled the top out of shape. They apparently intended it to be made with something lighter.

Simplicity patterns 3956 and 4127 are true top patterns in similar style - but not quite the same.
