I have the Singer Futura CE250 and I must say it was the best money I ever spend. I love the machine and I also love the support you get through the Yahoo Group.

Try the SewForum dot com website (you have to sign up but its free) they are taking requests and you might get lucky

I have a Singer Futura CE-250 and I love it. Nothing wrong with the Machine at all. I also have the StitchEra Software and it is something you have to invest a lot of time into. You cannot download the Software and start Digitizing right away. It is not one of those import design click and you have a Embroidery File. It takes a lot of learning and trail and error to Digitize a design.

I made the Name Tap with the Velcro myself (I have a embroidery machine), but there are several Vendors on Ebay that will make them for you with what ever you want on there.

To clarify DH= Dear Husband

To honor my DH that is serving in Afghanistan, I decided to make a purse out of a pair of his ACU's (Army uniform)
I used a Simplicity Pattern (2617) and left some steps out.
I made Pattern A
I did not quilt the top of the purse
I left out the Zipper on the inside Pocket and I left off the Magnetic Closure.
I made the front from the same ACU fabric ( the pattern calls for 2 different Fabrics)
I also left out the Padding in the Purse itself (I only put the Interfacing), but I did put the patting in the Strap.

I love my new Purse and I will still add some Velcro Patches to the front Pockets that I will embroider myself.

wow, what is the actual thickness of these?
I am wondering if you could use those as a sub for the German style Oblaten? (thin wafers they use for under Lebkuchen and Macrones)

Those are awesome! What kind of technique did you use to decorate them? Car the share the Cookie recipe and what you used for decorating? I have been trying my hand at decorating cookies like that, but the Icing seems to fail me every time.
