1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Ariel's blue dress on: February 21, 2009 02:33:44 AM
I'm going to be making Ariel's (The Little Mermaid) blue dress but I really don't know what sort of fabrics to use. I want it to look realistic.
I'm also wondering about the construction of the dress, should I make the dress and then have the black bodice a separate piece that goes over it? Or should it be three different pieces?
Here's an image of the dress:

Any help would be so much appreciated.
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: disney cross stitch pattern on: January 30, 2009 05:42:06 PM
Here's a couple of patterns.

Hope it helps!

Thank you! How did you find these?! I searched the web for HOURS, typing in everything I could think of to get a hit. I'm generally the person that can find anything on the web but these patterns half out-witted me.

If anyone else knows where I can find Little Mermaid patterns, please let me know.
