1  Re: Skirt or dress with drapey sides...how to? in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by meniana on: November 11, 2012 08:27:17 AM
Have you tried drafting the pattern like this?

And then sewing the top part beside the waist line

(I hope my explanation isn't confusing)

Or even making it shaped like a square with a waist line?

Hope it helps Smiley

2  My first AVPM-related piece in Needlework: Completed Projects by meniana on: June 24, 2011 11:18:39 PM
Hi, everybody Smiley

I got so obsessed with A Very Potter Musical some time ago and I knew I had to cross-stitch something from that.

Since I'm a very proud Ravenclaw and I'm not Cho Chang and that line is really funny, here's my piece:

I did the pattern using Photoshop and got the cursive letters from http://www.stitchpoint.com/eng/tool/alph/chart_alphabet_madrid.php

It took me about a week to finish, but just because I'm pretty lazy. I could have finished it in two days

My next piece is going to be a line from The Coolest Girl for my BFF

Hope you like Smiley
